Anatomy Mate

Those eyes, judging, yet forgiving,
Those eyes, spiteful, yet loving,
Piercing the thin artificial veil
Twixt life and death, to now surveil
My work, longing to tell her tale.

Though careful, my observations
Divulge little without conversations.
Words too weak to elucidate,
And question why such a fate
Befell my anatomy mate.
